Alice JL Pierre est une artiste multimédia, écrivain, photographe indépendante et chercheuse basée à Brighton (Angleterre). Son parcours l'a amenée à étudier l'histoire de l'art, la littérature, la philosophie et la création littéraire. Elle est actuellement étudiante en Doctorat de recherche-création à l'Université de Brighton.
Son travail se développe autour de la relation entre le corps humain, la photographie et le texte, dans l'exploration des thèmes de la mémoire (ainsi que la perte totale ou partielle de mémoire), de l'histoire familiale, des traumatismes et relations humaines à travers la Photolittérature, l'art narratif, l'écriture autobiographique et l'art performatif.
En tant que photographe indépendante, Alice explore les capacités du corps humain à travers la dance, la peinture corporelle, la mode et les portraits, utilisant principalement le corps comme une toile de fond pour l'expression émotionnelle et artistique.
